I’m Dennis Volkmann, a Brazilian-British marketer, fractional CMO, and founder of AMPLI.Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked across London, Singapore, and Latin America, creating and implementing marketing strategies for startups and scaleups in industries like fintech, travel, marketplaces, consumer tech, and B2B SaaS.
AMPLI is my personal platform, not an agency. It exists to work closely with ambitious startups on what matters most: marketing that works, messaging that resonates, and growth that’s sustainable.
I’m based in Panama and collaborate remotely with teams in the US, UK, and Latin America. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish fluently and have relevant international experience to work across these regions and beyond. Occasional short-term projects in Europe and Asia also happen, with a smaller scope of work that won't struggle with the time zone difference.

International Exposure
Dennis has lived and worked or studied in Brazil, US, UK, Singapore, and Panama. As a marketing professional, has run campaigns in more than a dozen countries, in four different continents, and in different languages. Also has had roles like Country Manager, for EasyRoommate (2011-2013), managing Brazil and Portugal.
No.
You don't need to be a startup for us to work together. Dennis has just as much experience working with traditional companies as in with startups.
Ampli Marketing was created to help startups that are gaining tracktion and are ready to scale, but what matters the most is that we share an alignment on ways of working. Particularly on being performance-oriented and digitally strong.
Yes.
Ampli Marketing was designed primarily with Series A startups in mind, but it's frameworks and Dennis experience enables us to work with more mature startups.
The further you are in your journey, the narrower the scope of work tends to be. Maybe a specific campaign, or launching a new international market, or a workshop designed for your team's specific needs.
Anywhere, as we'll probably work together remotely.
Dennis works remotely from Panama, with online messaging and video calls, so projects aligned with time zones in Europe and in the Americas work best.
Events and workshops can be negotiated with travel costs covered.
It depends. A project will only be accepted if we believe we can truly help you.
For best results, it's ideal that your business has found market fit and has the budget and the goals to scale acquisition and optimise the growth which is already hapening.
When the Marketing function doesn't exist yet, either the founder has a marketing background and has been covering that part of the business, or the founders chose to work directly with agencies, consultants, and other types of external support.
